Together We Are Stronger
“juntos somos más fuertes”
Alexandra and Jessica met during their graduate program internship and bonded over their passion of mental health.
The founders Alexandra and Jessica were driven by a powerful vision - to make therapy not just accessible but undeniably cool, welcoming individuals from all walks of life, with expertise on the Latino communities.
We set out to shatter the boundaries that keep people from seeking help, determined to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma. Our mission is to let you know that you are not alone; that challenges you face are shared by many, and there is a solution. By doing so, we aim to dispel the stigma surrounding therapy, making it a normal, empowering part of self-care for everyone.

Our Approach
Alexandra and Jessica have a shared passion for culturally sensitive and person-centered therapy. What works for one client may not necessarily work for every client. Alex and Jess tailor their therapeutic approach to the needs of their clients.
Please do not hesitate to request a consultation if you need more clarity on our therapeutic approach.

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Alexandra Plascencia
Hi, my name is Alexandra! I specialize in supporting individuals and couples by creating a safe environment to encourage clients on their healing journey. I use a trauma-informed approach to help break the stigma of mental health in the Latino community. I recognize that being treated with kindness and respect and being empowered with choices are key in helping people grow. I welcome clients to go at their own pace in therapy and meet them where they are at. I know taking that first step to enter therapy can be intimidating, but I will be there to support and uplift you.
I am also the Director of Mental Health at a group of charter schools in the Los Angeles area. I am leading my team in finding creative ways to make mental health services more visible and accessible to the Latino Community.
I am the first in my family to attend college and receive my Master’s degree. I attended CSULA where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Parenting. I also attended Pacific Oaks where I studied Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Trauma studies and received my Master’s degree.
